About Damaniel.org

So, just what is the point of Damaniel.org, and who exactly is the freak behind all of this? Allow me to explain myself...

The mastermind of Damaniel.org, and the author of all of the (admittedly lacking) content, is Shaun Brandt. For the three of you who actually care, I'm a mid-twentysomething software engineer from Portland, Oregon, USA.

This site is primarily meant as a place to store random stuff that I don't wan't to lose (some of which may just happen to be useful to other people), and a way for me to dabble in standards-compliant web development. I've been known to write software outside of work from time to time, and some of this will undoubtedly make their way onto this site for those who might find them helpful. I'm sure there's other reasons I haven't thought of yet, but they're probably not important.

Why is the site called Damaniel.org? Long ago, when I was still in college, I had a bit of an Everquest addiction (I was so young then, so naive...), and my primary character's name was Damaniel. The name wasn't my creation; my lack of creativity forced me to let the game pick it for me. Since then, I've used the name for other things, and now I'm using it here.

If you're still reading this, what the hell are you doing? Go download The Dungeon of Smiley or something!
